Fran Castillo is an Architect (ETSAS), Master in Advanced Architecture (IAAC/UPC) and Interaction Designer (UPF). He is currently working as a data visualization specialist at Synergic Partners. He´s Founder of Responsive Environments. Among his projects, stand out Open Energy. Real-Time Energy Behaviour Visualization, Ecovisualización-Ecoanalogización, developed at Medialab-Prado Madrid, and Augmented Ecologies, selected at 2011 Subtle Technologies Festival Toronto. He has also been awarded with First Prize in the 4th Advanced Architecture Contest IAAC “City Sense” Barcelona 2011, and 2011 International Residency Program KIBU´S / Kitchen Budapest. Magyar Telekom’s Innovation Lab, in 2010 he was also selected at Young Artists and Creators Emergencias 2.0, La Casa Encendida and I Digital Culture Festival UBICUA´11 Sevilla 2011. His research work was also chosen at 2011 Eme3 International Architecture Festival / COAC / ARTS SANTA MÓNICA / DHUB / ELISAVA Barcelona and was selected to participate in Technart 2013, International Conference on Art&Technology. In 2007 he received a Scholarship from the MEC (Ministry of Education and Science, Spain) at Seville University (ETSAS). Coimpulsor of Festival Pecha Kucha Night Sevilla.
